Poor Yan Heng struggled against the force pulling him down, but despite his resistance, he was eventually dragged beneath. The moment he sank below the surface, he found himself falling again, cursing under his breath. It was one thing to be immune to such energies, but it was another entirely to be tossed around like a ragdoll, unable to regain his footing and return to the surface.

He waited for what felt like an eternity, but no one came to his rescue. The silence of abandonment filled him with frustration. The elder who had left him here seemed to be utterly irresponsible. His anger was palpable. What was he supposed to do now?

Bored and with no desire to bother Queen, he decided to spend his time cultivating. His previous experiences had taught him that he could absorb and cultivate in this environment, so he sat down cross-legged and began circulating his Three Sun cultivation method.

As he continued, magma flowed into his body, silently being converted by his Three Sun cultivation technique. The first sun within him began to fill slowly. Though he was uncertain about what would happen when one of the three suns was completely filled, he knew that the process was a crucial step in advancing his cultivation.

His realm was progressing, albeit at a laughably slow pace. It took him an entire week to break through to the 2nd layer of the Martial Warrior realm. This rate of progress, while quick, still felt sluggish compared to his previous experiences. The last volcano he encountered had been far more formidable. The outer layers of that volcano could destroy saints, yet here, the deeper layers seemed incapable of even scratching a saint.

The disparity was significant. Nonetheless, with nothing else to occupy his time, he persisted in his cultivation. Having just achieved a new breakthrough, he decided to consolidate his realm. Since Queen was still in silent mode, he took the opportunity to explore his surroundings.

Following his instincts, he moved in the direction where the heat was most intense. Soon, he came across three rocks—two large ones and a smaller one. Yan Heng chuckled upon seeing them, mentally likening them to a family—Father, Mother, and Child. He sat in front of them, reflecting on his own family.

“You’re lucky, little rock,” Yan Heng said aloud. “You’re not alone here.” He reached out and touched the three rocks.

He was puzzled. This was supposed to be a volcano, but these rocks seemed to be the source of the environment here. Unlike the volcano he had encountered before, where the magma came from deep within the continent and rose to the surface, this place was a fabrication—a false volcano created by these rocks.

After pondering this for a while, he concluded that the rocks were some kind of treasure. By examining them closely, he noticed traces of energy emanating from them. The two larger rocks appeared to be responsible for creating the environment, while the smaller one seemed to be in the process of being nurtured.

“Is the small rock the core of a flame?” Yan Heng wondered aloud.
